Our Story

In 2005, our founder who specialised in the construction industry, made the decision to venture into the agricultural sector. At that time, swiftlet farming was still considered a niche sector in Malaysia’s agricultural industry. 

Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, our founder gathered a team of contractors and a consultant to build a specially designed swiftlet farm in the forest. Throughout his journey, our founder learnt it was common for many bird’s nest suppliers in Malaysia to produce their bird’s nest products with artificial substances and preservatives. This practice within the industry made it difficult to preserve the bird’s nest drink at its purest and tastiest form. 

Since then, our founder has set out on a journey to create a bird’s nest product in Malaysia that does not contain any artificial substances, but only its natural, tasty goodness. Later, in 2008 SunshineNest was incorporated to produce natural and healthy bird’s nest products for every Malaysian to enjoy. Some of our popular products include bird's nest beverages with rock sugar.

We are committed to avoid adding any artificial substances into our products such as additives, chemicals, colourings or preservatives, in order to preserve the natural goodness of the bird's nest.
